The creator of Five Night at Freddy’s, Scott Cawthon, has released a new teaser image for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4”. It’s simply a picture of Chica looking as menacing as ever, with three rows of razor sharp teeth along with a couple other changes mostly graphical. Just as well with the other teasers, “Was it me?” is seen on the front of this teaser and also people are saying that if you brighten the image the word “nightmare” can be seen. As expected there are theories and rumors going around about the game, all because the numbers “8” and “7” we on the websites Html code, leading people to believe that FNAF4 will be about the bite of ’87. Other people thought that the 8 and 7 were coordinates and took to Google Maps to find answers and were then lead to a Google Plus page for a pizzeria in Virginia. Then it turns out that someone actually wrote a review for this pizzeria and it seems to be pointing to Five Nights at Freddy’s. It reads:
“THE ROBOTS KILL! I saw a ro bot fox killing a kid before in there run for your life’s out of there”
Fans then assumed that it was all a big stunt pulled by the creator of FNAF’s and proceeded to make numerous calls to the pizzeria. I’m talking mass amounts of people calling from all over the place which I think is hilarious considering that the pizzeria actually has nothing to do with FNAF’s. It got so out of control that Scott Cawthon took down the 8’s and 7’s on his website, he also took to reddit and said:
“The number sequence was a coincidence, nothing more. I’ve said this before; there are NO phone numbers associated with this game. Please do not try and call phone numbers that you think you found hidden; you will only call businesses and home that have no idea what you’re talking about. Thanks.”
So it turns out the 8’s and 7’s were just a big misunderstanding, or was it? I only say that because there’s still is a possibility of FNAF4 being about the bite of ’87, but I guess the only way to truly find out is to wait until it’s released, which it will be on October 31st 2015 and will be available for PC and both iOS and Android devices.
